(14) The Two Running Mates
The two main candidates have announced their running mates by now.

JD Vance, 40, the running mate and hence the Vice Presidential nominee of Donald J Trump. |

Tim Walz, 60, the running mate of Kamala Harris. |
4 days after he got shot and escaped a sure assassination, on 17th July, Trump announced the Junior Senator from Ohio, James David Vance, (more known as JD Vance), as his running mate (Vice Presidential nominee). On August 7th, 2024, Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Governor Timothy Walz (more known as Tim Walz) as her running mate.
On July 22nd, Vance criticized American women without children in a very ugly manner, claiming that they just don't have any stake in America's future, as the future of tomorrow belongs to the children of today. Indirectly he was trying to criticize the fact that Kamala Harris has no children and thus wanted to say that she doesn't hold any stake in America's future. But accidentally this message was taken by all the women in the US, with no children, as targeting them! This included the likes of a powerful Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston. She got annoyed and blasted off this remark from Vance in a very intense manner. Other women with no children too joined the chorus, which in no time grew so big that Vance was forced to clarify that what he actually meant was not what these women understood. He has to apologize for that.
A few days later, on August 10th, he suddenly went inside the aircraft of the current Vice President Harris! When asked by the reporters about this gesture of his, he was like, "I know I am going to be the next Vice President now. So I was just checking out AirForce 2 (the aircraft given to the sitting Vice President of America)!!" What a stupid action by the running mate of a person as clever as Trump!! Clearly this was nothing but "a hallucination"!
Trump is yet to win the election and become President. God knows, how many fierce rivals he has to tackle, how many assassination attempts still he needs to survive, before he actually becomes the President. And look at this guy...he is already hallucinating that he is going to be the Vice President!! Isn't it non-sense? This election has been quite unpredictable and who knows what will happen in the next 80 days?? How can you be so sure that it is only Trump who is going to win it? It can be Harris too. What if she wins it? What are you going to say those who will make fun of you after that, by showing this video of yours, explaining why you chose to just enter Airforce 2 unofficially??
The above two incidents, if they are an occasional mistake by Vance, then it's still okay but if they reflect the way how Vance usually behaves and carries himself in public, then I need to say that Trump has made a wrong choice, guys! This guy doesn't deserve to be the next Vice President of this country as yet. He is too much of a rookie politician, who just doesn't know what to say in public and how to behave when under the surveillance of a camera. I hope he doesn't make further blunders, that create potentially unwanted trouble for Trump's campaign.
Vance's opposite number Tim Walz is quite older compared to him. Tim's negative point is that he is too loud when he speaks on the stage. Everyone saw that in the very first joint rally of Harris-Walz on August 9th. A psychological study says "loud people who sound very strong on the outside are actually too soft and get broken very easily." Trump can take advantage of this as and when Tim starts showing signs of a meltdown. It's then that his real character will actually come out. Let's see how this goes and whether Tim can survive a debate with Vance without any nervous breakdown.
As of now looking at both candidates, it seems Trump has faltered in his choice of VP, whereas Harris has succeeded. Actually a Vice President doesn't affect a Presidential election too much, so I am not going into the details about the profiles of the above-mentioned two VP nominees.
